Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (some departments require college coursework)
Completion of Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET)
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Ability to pass physical fitness tests, background checks, and psychological evaluations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to stay calm under pressure and make quick decisions

Pay & Benefits

Salary of $57,000 to $63,300, depending on experience and training, plus overtime availability
